Following on from an outstanding attendance at the launch of our 2020 showroom in December and our very best Harrogate Christmas & Gift show yet, we have just returned home from the NEC Spring Fair after another record show.
Despite many changes to the layout of the show, which saw Christmas in a brand new hall this year, our customers had no trouble finding us. They must have followed the sound of the Festive flyer and the sweet smell of popcorn, as we not only managed to catch up with many of our existing customers but also greeted a huge number of new faces.
The change in location wasn’t the only thing new for us this year, we also had an entirely new stand. It was much more open plan than in previous years with multiple different entry points that helped increase the footfall throughout our stand. Over 90% of those who visited our stand at the NEC Spring Fair rated it 4 or 5 stars, according to a recent Festive survey sent to those who visited us at the show.
Without a doubt, the biggest show stopper for us again was our large display items. Even buyers who weren’t even planning on shopping for Christmas at the show couldn’t resist coming onto our stand. Hundreds came to ride the Festive Flyer, watch the dancing carousel, admire our magical fairy tale carriage, drive our London bus and of course conduct our Festive Express train, which comes with an additional carriage this year. We are THE place for life-size props this year and those all important and increasingly popular selfie moments!
We are still a traditional seasonal decorations supplier so as well as an impressive range of large display items, we have also extended our lines of plush and table top items. In addition to multiple new lines of glass, acrylic, decoupage, wood, metal, claydo and shatterproof hanging decorations. As a result, almost 90% of those who visited us at the show said they were either likely or definitely going to place an order with us this year, our survey revealed.
